I was born in Tripoli, Lebanon in 1978. I was raised in a small family consisting of my mom, my dad, and my younger brother "Hani."

Tripoli is a very nice city right on the shores of the Meditteranean sea. Obviously, my childhood memories include a lot fun and adventures at the beach where I spent countless days and hours. But since nothing in life is perfect, my childhood memories also include running away from gunfighters in the street and hiding in the basement from air bombing during the many wars that took place in Lebanon.

Anyways, when I finished high school, I moved to the capital city "Beirut" where I attended Beirut Arab University and obtained a bachelor in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, I immigrated to Akron, Ohio in the United States where I went to graduate school at The University of Akron, from which I obtained both Masters and Doctoral degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

I currently live in Ada, Ohio where i am an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ohio Northern University.
