Professional Interests: A Variety of Topics in Psychology

While my graduate training was in the field of Visual Psychophysics, most of my professional work has been in the field of behavioral analysis.

Conflict Resolution:

I have been interested in Conflict Resolution from a behavioral
perspective for a number of years. I've also enjoyed the sport of
Boxing. In 1997 I pursued my interests in both these areas by
achieving certification in arbitration and a license to judge
professional boxing events in Ohio. In 2000 I completed the circle
through training in General and Divorce Mediation.

Personal Interests:

A Newfoundland Dog Page

The Newfoundland Mailing List Site The Newf Zone We got our first Newfoundland in 1971 and have had five more since then. Our last newfy was Dockmaster's Wally Balloo, a wonderful and affectionate companion. At 140lbs Wally was the smallest newfy we've owned. Having a Newfoundland is like having a Bear-skin rug that can move itself to any room in the house. Wally passed away on June 9th,1999. We cherish the memories. Wally Wally wearing a fashionable and useful Kool-Kap Our latest newfy is Ch. Pouch Cove's Wild About Harry. Harry is shown below at 12 weeks of age. He was born on October 8, 2000. Harry Harry is now (November, 2004) a petite 150 lbs and still growing. Vespa Motor Scooters

I always wanted a motor scooter. As a child I cut out the catalog picture of the Sears Allstate Cruisaire (a Vespa) and pinned it to my wall. I finally got my first one in 1962 when I started graduate school in Florida. It was old, had no front brakes, and a constant oil leak onto the rear brake. Somehow I survived. I now ride a 1981 Vespa P200E. Recently, with a group of older riders, I formed the OBSC (Old Bastards Scooter Club - for those who could have bought a vintage scooter when they were new. We have over 40 members. Corvairs My first new car was a 1965 Corvair 500 Coupe equipped with a 110 hp engine and 4-speed transmission. Great car. Unfortunately it was not a good family car, and we traded it for a 1968 VW Microbus. My interest in Corvairs has never ceased and I currently own a beautiful red 1966 Corsa convertible, a very nice 1966 Maroon Monza sedan and a 1968 Corvair powered motorhome. 1966 Corvair Corsa 140/4 In July, 2007 we sold our Corvair Motorhome and replaced it with a 1996 Safari Diesel Pusher. Watercolors During the summer of 1995 I decided to try my hand at Watercolor painting. I've always enjoyed art as a spectator sport, never as a player. During a trip to Ontario, far from anyone who might recognize me, I set up my paints and gave it a try. Andy Warhol suggested that we all will have our 15 minutes of fame. I'm not sure about that, but the Web ensures that we all can have our 15Mbytes of exposure. Pictures in my gallery are presented in chronological order.
